Toyo Business Engineering Corporation (B-EN-G, headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and headed by President and CEO Masanori Osawa) has announced the installation and launch of A.S.I.A. GP Accounting Edition and MCFrame Cost Management at the newly established factory by Roland Digital Group (Thailand) Ltd. (Roland DG Thailand), the Thai affiliate of Roland DG Corporation (Roland DG, headquartered in Hamamatsu-shi, Shizuoka, and headed by Chairman and President Masahiro Tomioka). Implementation support was provided by B-EN-G's local affiliated company, Toyo Business Engineering Thailand Co., Ltd. (B-EN-G Thailand).

Early introduction of accounting and cost management system (A.S.I.A. GP Accounting Edition and MCFrame Cost Management)
Roland DG manufactures and sells commercial inkjet printers and 3D cutting machines, and in summer 2012 built its first overseas factory in Samut Sakhon province, Thailand. The plant is a production site for primary products and products for emerging nations, which account for the company's volume zone.

Roland DG Thailand aims for standardized work processes and the early launch of operations, employing a method of system development based on package products rather than development from scratch. The selected solution was B-EN-G's A.S.I.A.GP accounting system, which was implemented short-term for about three months. As production models increased, they also switched from management with Excel to MCFrame Cost Management and began operation in November 2013. They are currently in the process of implementing MCFrame Production Management in order to streamline the entire process from production planning to shipment, with a target for launching full-scale operations of November 2014.

Deciding factors were links with head office, short-term implementation, standardized work process, and support and track record
The reasons for selection were as follows:
1) Compatibility with accounting work and consolidated statements with head office (A.S.I.A.)
2) Short-term implementation and cost
3) Factory work processes can be tailored to package standard processes
4) Detailed local support (in Thai, English and Japanese)
5) Track record of overseas implementation

Roland DG Thailand expect to boost their cost competitiveness by procuring local parts while using MCFrame Cost Management and building relationships of trust with suppliers.
