- Strengthening the group's consolidated management platform through IT infrastructure enables to respond flexibly to changes in the management environment -

Toyo Business Engineering Corporation (B-EN-G, headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and headed by President Masanori Osawa) has announced the selection of A.S.I.A. GP ERP ("A.S.I.A"), a compact ERP package (sales and accounting system) developed for the operation of the overseas subsidiaries of Japanese companies by Morimura Bros., Inc. (Morimura Bros., headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo and headed by President Yusuke Morimura) as a global consolidated management platform for its group companies, including its overseas bases. B-EN-G has provided the main support for introduction, and local partners have provided support such as training in local languages at bases in Vietnam and Thailand. Operational launch is scheduled by the end of 2014 in Vietnam, and for spring of 2015 in Thailand.

■Strengthening the Group's Consolidated Management Platform through the Standardization of Administration and Systems at Overseas Bases
As part of recent efforts to shift its manufacturing bases overseas, in the past five years Morimura Bros. has doubled the number of its overseas bases. Upon establishing an overseas subsidiary in Vietnam in August 2014, it decided to promote the standardization of the administration and systems at overseas bases, its BCP (business continuity plan) approach, and its control function over its overseas bases. The sales and accounting system chose to adopt in order to overcome these challenges was A.S.I.A. Through the selection of A.S.I.A., Morimura Bros. intends to implement thorough inventory and orders management, and to strengthen the Group's consolidated management platform in order to make it possible to respond flexibly to changes in the management environment. Furthermore, they plan to accumulate system development know-how at multiple bases in Japan, Vietnam and Thailand with a view to developing the system in other regions.

■Deciding factors in selection were A.S.I.A.'s functions that were suited to its work, a track record of deployment at overseas bases, and implementation can be controlled by the head office
The reasons for selection are as follows:

1) The package is simple and easy to understand, and possesses functions that are suited to its work
2) Handles multiple languages, multiple currencies and multiple standards
3) Possible to prepare the system in Japan and then deploy it horizontally at multiple bases
4) Training in local languages is possible
5) Track record of deployment overseas

■Morimura Bros.' head office chose to implement the system with the aim of backing up data for risk management purposes and for employee training
Morimura Bros. plans to introduce A.S.I.A. at its Japanese head office. Data is backed up at the head office to avoid the risks posed by natural disasters or other incidents, and in consideration of the BCP. It is also considering using the system for internal training, and as a test environment for preparing the horizontal development of the A.S.I.A. system to its overseas subsidiaries.
